You Know You Want To Read It: Another Crash Love Review

The Telescope has posted a review of Crash Love. They have given it 4 out of 4 stars, stating that:

"Even though they're not that rebellious punk band they used to be in the 90s, AFI still brings powerful lyrics that reflect its feelings no matter what. "Crash Love" is different, there's no doubt about it. This transition made it possible for the band to create one of the best albums of their career."

  2. I'm really relieved there are no screamings in the album. Recent performances of songs with screams demonstrate Davey can't scream live anymore.

  3. It was nice to see Adam get some credit. I think davey is still capable of the screaming but it's way more strained and all together different. If he wants to cut back on the screaming to save his voice I'll take it!

  5. Yeah I know what you mean. At the jersey show when Lou Koller sang on kill caustic it felt a little like he was there to help davey on the screams. But davey still tries and after surgery his screams were bound to sound different. I'm just happy he tries and that this cd isn't full of screams for the sake of his voice.

  6. Wait... I don't know why I linked to a Perfect Fit video. I thought the Reading Festival show I ripped was Death of Seasons, but I guess it wasn't.Here's an amazing performance of DoS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIWv6Fu2p88And yeah. I like Kill Caustic and Death of Seasons but I'd rather see other songs he can actually pull out :\
