Does AFI usually perform music from their B-sides? or is this only the second time they do On The Arrow?
ReplyDeleteZOMG The Interview... I am SOO stoked for the 19th now. They better keep rolling out these awesome songs.
ReplyDeleteI really frickin hope thye play the interview in scranton..its one of my faves from DecemberUnderground, and in general.
ReplyDeleteIf I am Correct every date since the first crash love tour they have played on the arrow.
ReplyDeleteThere are like 100 songs that I would take before 75% of the songs on this setlists but still waaaay better than the DU tour setlists.
ReplyDeleteYep, the first date after the Crash Love release got On The Arrow for the first time and they've played it every single show.
ReplyDeleteI like how they ended with Silver and Cold. That just seems pretty cool to me. :]
ReplyDeleteYeah, although it's not the first time they've done it. They used Silver and Cold as a closer during the Canada June 2006 shows :)
ReplyDeletei am sooo happy that was amazing, was so blown away then Love is a many splendored thing came up. so happy
ReplyDeleteIve never commented on a setlist before, but that one was put together pretty good. Buffalo must of had an especially good show. The Leaving Song and ON THE ARROW??? wow.
ReplyDeleteHey Pablo the show i'm going to is on sat in jersey. Can I just email you or Jason with the setlist to post? Just wondering how that works.
ReplyDeleteSure Diana! That would be great, thanks!. If you can get it in order it would be amazing!
ReplyDeleteIt was really fantastic. I got pretty emotional during "The Interview" because a)It's such a beautiful song and b)I could see the emotion in his face and it really got to me. Good show.
ReplyDeleteBrandon did you take any vids? I really really want to see VSS and Beautiful Thieves.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see The Interview added into the mix! Easily one of my favorite songs ever. I'm suprised they haven't played this one more often, considering Davey has always spoken very highly of this song.
ReplyDeleteOMFGhope to see it soon...
ReplyDeleteI am so so happy they are playing Ever And A Day. I hope it becomes a staple on their setlist again.
ReplyDeletePlease, come to Finland with that setlist! :D Rise Against is coming too, why not AFI?
ReplyDeleteI really wish they would stop playing 'leaving song pt 2.' and all the slower songs like 'on the arrow' 'leaving song pt.1' 'the interview' they are so boring live. when I go to an AFI show, i wanna get pumped not be bored by their slow power ballads. they need to start playing 'transference' 'reivers music' 'synesthesia' 'now the world' and maybe 'triple zero' the set list that just got posted makes me not wanna go see AFI when they come to california.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, the date format is the international (correct) format. If you thought that yesterday's setlist was from the 10th of July, you're wrong. It was from the 7th of October.
ReplyDeleteNo God Called in Sick Today or Days of the Phoenix?
ReplyDeletePablo, I'm sorry but that's really arrogant and egotistical to say the "international (correct) format." There is nothing right or wrong about it, neither about the US system. If anything, you're being completely insensitive to the fact that 1) AFI is from the USA, 2) I'd be willing to bet that at least a plurality, if not simple majority, of the fans are from the USA, and 3) at least a plurality if not simple majority of the visitors to this site are probably from the USA. If you'd care to prove me wrong on any of those, go ahead. There's no need to just start throwing insults at American customs and culture.
ReplyDeleteThey played On the Arrow again and The Interview. And Ever and a Day. Wow. I really hope they have a similar set list by the time they get to St. Louis in November!!
ReplyDeleteim so psyched they played the interview...ive always wanted them to
ReplyDeleteThank you Flash.I was trying to tell him that yesterday but your much better at arguments :P
ReplyDeleteDrew, I didn't take any videos. I'm sorry. I kept all my crap in the car because I would've lost anything of value I may have brought in.
ReplyDeleteThis was my first AFI concert and I am so glad I went. The live recordings and studio versions of songs are bad compared to how they sounded live.
ReplyDeleteits ok brandon. theres just none on youtube (only one I found sucked). but I'm sure we will get some soon
