AFI in Big Cheese Magazine cover!

    Maybe because they came out from the very same scene? They used to play at the same venue in the early 90's?

    as much as I really really really hate Green Day x1000, Pablo is right :PThey both have a similar upbringing, regardless of their differences today.

    I really don't see why people are so angry or upset because of this. It's widely known both bands are friends (Davey joined GD live earlier this year, Miss Murder was written in Billy Joe's house and AFI soundchecks from time to time with Basket Case)As for shootong them together, both bands are in tour.Everyone should be grateful all AFI members are on the cover. GD is x1000000000000 bigger than AFI.

    Well, Green day sounds very mainstream. I'ts not Punk-band anymore. They even performed in MTV European Music Awards last year. That's very commercial.

    Oh my... They did bad editing the two together, but overall sounds cool.Love the wording on front of the bands, awesome font :D

    Well technically AFI is a mainstream band aswell, they're certainly aren't punk and they've played in MTV shows aswell :P

That's very commercial." it's not like it's Green Day's fault. lol. yes, it's very commercial, but it's also a big thing and a huge honor. it's not like they could say no. green day got lucky and ended up with A LOT of fans. i think it's kinda weird that people don't like how big they've become. If AFI had been offered the opportunity to play at the MTV european music awards, THEY wouldn't be able to turn them down. "Green day sounds very mainstream. AFI and GREEN DAY are two of my three favorite bands in the world. ( i like to thing of them as my musical holy trinity lol) i've obsessed over both of them for years, so seeing this cover was like, *mystical, foggy illimination, angels singing in the background while i'm making a face like this 0.0 and trying to supress a squeal of joy* I'm gonna try and see if i can get it from someone. i want this magazine almost more than my life right now. is that abnormal? :)
