In case some of you hadn't noticed already, the show was on October 8th, and not on August 10th when AFI wasn't even on tour ;)
ReplyDeletePerfect setlist.I wish it would stay that way for Scranton<3.
ReplyDeleteThis show was so great!! Still thinking about it and the awesome atmosphere, I definitely want to go so them again on this tour now, this is probably the highlight of my year so far.
ReplyDeleteEither way somebody gets screwed, Drew. Perhaps if you could accept that everyone in the world bar Americans use this format. Which is the majority, incase you were wondering, Drew. Why should the rest of us be deemed less important than you Americans? Besides, we don't bitch when we read your date format, it just shows how stupid you are for being unable to do a simple conversion.Sorry for being so harsh, but maybe I wouldn't have to be if you brought a little more reason to your whinings.
ReplyDeleteHey if anyone has videos of Too Shy To Scream, Veronica, Beautiful Thieves, and the Interview you should post them :)
ReplyDeleteOh and if your a writer you should just delete the two above posts. I didn't intend this comment section to become another argument, which is why I removed my 1st post on second thought :)
ReplyDeleteDeleting the first post doesn't change the fact that you're still thinking in that mindset, though.Yes, the argument is trivial and it should even be an argument. But for some reason, you decided to make it one. I couldn't give a damn whether it was in the American format or the International one, either way I can still gather the information I need to without having to look like an ass in front of everybody. And I never accused you of saying one country is better than another, I'm just saying that you should think of other people, not just yourself.Flash is 100% correct and I'm not denying that. Fact of the matter is, Pablo is from Mexico, he's doing us a favour by posting AFI's setlists on this blog and the first comment you can muster up is something about the format of the date. Seriously Drew, grow up.
ReplyDeleteI'm not going to pick apart your post, this argument is truly beyond ridiculous, but I still believe Pablo can whatever he likes considering it's his blog, and he doesn't need to do anything if he doesn't want to.
ReplyDeleteGreat. I believe that too. I think you need to look up what "suggestion" means. I'm not ordering him to do anything. I just found it odd if he had to clarify it in every post, that he wouldn't just change the date. I really don't want to talk about this. Infact, I think everyone should post this to rest.
ReplyDelete*put
ReplyDeleteDrew: Do not attack anyone. As Pablo said, stop complaining and bitching. It a date! You should know how to convert a date. If you don't like the way this blog is run, don't read it. I am sick of hearing you complain and bitch and promote your blog on this site. Go run your site if you want, dont promote on here. I am trying to be as nice as I can. Feel free to give input and your opinions in the comments but do not promote your site and complain about miniscule details about a post.Pablo: We all know you are not a fan of Drew. But, saying "your blog is full of fail" is a tad harsh. Just my opinion.TO EVERYONE: BE RESPECTFUL. No one is "a whiny bitch." We all are fans of this band and a family. There is no need to be disrespectful to anyone. If you feel that this blog is being run poorly or not to your liking, leave. I will be disappointed to see people leave but if you feel that strongly about the date, you're free to do whatever you wish. If there are more disrespectful comments towards Drew or anyone else, they will be deleted. If this persists, you will be banned from this site. If you want to fight with someone and complain about them, go on AIM or MySpace and do it. This is not the place for it. Drew, if you truly have an issue with something on the blog, email me at talk2much1603@sbcglobal.net. It can then be discussed privately without all the comments.THat is the end of my rant. Final warning to all.
ReplyDeleteAlso, the fire alarms went off twice. Once between Gallows and AFI and also during Miss Murder.
ReplyDeleteHow hilarious is it that during all this back and forth bullshit someone still thought this happened in August? HAHA! No offense to ohasailboat but just read the enteries and you'll understand the concert happend on Oct. 8.
ReplyDeleteI think he was making fun of people who bitched by being sarcastic
ReplyDeleteLegitimate, helpful suggestion.Title the post in this form:Show XXX, 10 October 2009Then you don't have to comment at the beginning of every post what the date is for those in US. Because that DOES come off as patronizing. And it saves you the trouble of that extra comment.Or just skip the patronizing comment altogether.
ReplyDeleteI was making the whole thing into a bit of a joke. Sorry, I thought it was funny and just wanted to lighten the mood.
ReplyDeletewow still no total immoral or days of the phoenix
ReplyDeleteI was hoping they'd be doing Miseria Cantare - The Beginning this time around, but this seems like a good set list nonetheless.
