AFI Cancels Dec. 15 and 16 Canadian Dates

From a blog post on
"AFI has regretfully had to cancel the first two dates of its upcoming Canadian run due to scheduling conflicts. Refunds for the band's shows December 15 at the Winnipeg Convention Center and December 16 at Saskatoon's Prairieland Park will be available at the point of purchase, beginning Tuesday, November 24th.

The band members apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing their Canadian fans at their upcoming dates in Edmonton, Calgary and Victoria."

  1. that sucks for all you farmers and winter lovers (yeah, I can stereotype people in my own country) :(Good thing bands never skip Toronto :)

  2. This is really lame. I wonder what they will do instead.

  3. No but they always skip Montreal...

  4. NOOO!!!! Just when I thought the praries were going to get some real entertainment, this happens! Freaking. Devastating. And this was going to be my first AFI show too. Aww....*tear*But 'scheduling conflicts'? I could see them cancelling if they had fears of our numerous wheat fields ganging up on them...but not this!It just sounds so plain.
