"The Art Of Drowning" in Top Ten Influential Punk Albums from 2000

In September's issue of Alternative Press magazine "The Art Of Drowning" was named one of the top 10 influential punk albums from 2000 to influence today's punk. The page has a very brief history of AFI and how their line up changes affected their sound, as well as a mini interview with Jade. This mostly talks about things going on with the band at the time the album was recorded. You can see the article in this thread on the DF.
Thanks to BrttnyD for the tip!

The issue of AP also had a full page ad for DW drums featuring Adam on the back page. It is also available in desktop format, in two sizes, 1600x1200 and 1280x1024.

  4. By "you" do you mean AFI News HQ? I haven't heard of any plans for a tour in South America, sorry. If the post is gone it is 99% sure to be false.

  6. Naw it wasn't rude! I was just wondering if it was in a comment or we had posted about it. That would be cool if it happens. Do you know who posted it? I can dig about it a bit to see :)

  12. Ruth could you email me a link to the article please? madrockradio@gmail.com, thanks!

Rodrigo, I could see it happening in September, but I'm guessing they will stop touring before October.

  13. It would be awesome see them live, but i think they wont come to Brazil.

James, there are some Green Day's shows schedule here in october, but in the sites i only saw that Green Day was confirmed. Unfortunately, i think this time i wont be able to see them live, but in the other hand, if they stop their tour as soon as you think we soon will hear Bright Black Heaven which is very good.
