  1. The Missing Frame was one of my favourites that they played in Toronto last year :)

  2. ET being subbed out for TMF? What a joke. One of CL's strongest for one of DU's most bland. Yay!

  3. I still dont see why both cant be in that set. And throw in TSTS. 12 songs isnt that much.

  4. Green Day says how long AFI can play, they had both at the first show (11 songs) but since then all setlists have been 10, not counting Lollapolooza. I really, really dislike TMF. I hope they play ET in Mansfield, I've seen it 5 times and have no interesting in seeing TMF which I've never seen. I would like to see Dancing Through Sunday replaced by Death of Seasons, and maybe an oldie in place of something else. Unlikely :(

  5. I just dont see how an extra 6 minutes is going to throw green day, who plays a 2.5 hour set, off at all.

  6. Some venues probably have curfews since the shows are outside, so it could potentially make green day cut a song if that's the case.

  7. They better play ET at the Phoenix show or I would be very upset..

  8. It seems they pick randomly. Good luck!

  9. Oh i love The Missing Frame so its okay although End Transmission would also be nice to play as well with the set list because it is one of my favorites from CRASH LOVE!!!

  10. First date since Crash Love's release that End Transmission hasn't been played. Hurts my soul.

  11. well personally i dislike I am trying very hard to be here it is one of my least favorite songs off of crash love i would have never put it on the album!!! but of course other would disagree

  12. Actually there have been a few others where it was not played I think, festivals etc. Not sure thought.

IATVHTBH is the best fast-paced song on CL in my opinion.

  13. After checking setlist fm, End Transmission has been played 7 times less than Medicate, Medicate was only played once or twice before the actual album dropped, which means there are a few shows ET was not played. Beautiful Thieves, on an interesting note, despite being the second single has been played one time less than ET.

  14. Sorry for the comment spam haha, keep finding more info. The first time on the Crash Love tour End Transmission was not played was October 23rd at Ulalume Festival http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/afi/2009/merriweather-post-pavilion-columbia-md-63d7dafb.html

  15. End Trans sounds 20x better than Missing Frame live... Missing Frame he's always off (because the DU CD was not what they wanted to make obviously if he couldn't sing any of the songs live..if you say he sang the DU songs (i guess minus Miss Murder :P) amazing live you have no clue what vocal talent is.)

Oh and he can't do girls not grey anymore IMO.. why not replace that?

  16. I really dislike Missing Frame, I'm glad I never saw it live/it's not in most setlists. I LOVE End Transmission, and I want to see it again.

He can't hit that note at the end, but they won't cut that for a long, long time since it's a single and fan favorite. I wish they would.

  17. I'd like to see a predominantly CL and #9 tour next time around. Time to let STS and DU rest in peace, as much as I love them.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I think they should play less common STS songs, and then Death of Seasons. By the next album though, STS may be considered an "oldie" one STS song and one from ATASF-AOD being played each night. That would be a bummer. I really want more AOD and earlier in the set. Never gonna happen :(. They can cut out DU for all I care, although if they played The Interview some more that'd be cool. And Endlessly.

  19. TMF and ET are both annoying, TMF being the most annoying,

  20. they are not going to play any other songs off STS because they can't play them live. I wish they would but they just can't. I like the Interview live. It great to see and hear. I actually really want to hear more songs from Black Sails.

  21. End Transmission is awesome IMO.

They could play Leaving Song 1 instead of On the Arrow next tour, or do what they did on the East Coast tour and play both. But Home Is Nowhere IS possible, they could play that instead of say, Leaving 2. They could also bring back Miseria or Bleed Black (as much as I dislike BB I'd like to see it). If Davey still had the range they could play Celluloid, but sadly he doesn't :(

  22. I really doubt they'll bring back Miseria. That would be nice but I think they'd bring back prelude before they did that. I like hearing leaving song 2 live. They should do something else in place of Silver and Cold. I'd love to hear The Great Disappointment or Okay I feel Better Now. and of course Sacrilege, but i guess they still can't play that one or something. You'd think that would be a perfect song for the Green Day tour.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Yeah, so do I but it IS possible. The Great Disspointment, as much as I'd love to see it, is even more unlikely than This Celluloid Dream :(. OK, IFBN is pretty good live, not one of my favorites though. Sacrilege would be AMAZING. It would fit!

  24. Ahh,what would I give to see The Great Disappointment live..I don`t understand why they never played that song :(

  25. The vocals are WAY out of Davey's range to sing comfortably live. Especially now. I'd love to see it.

  26. Keeping it at an 11 song set length and only drawing from the past three albums I feel the Green Day Tour setlist should look more like this...
    01-Medicate
    02-Girls Not Grey
    03-The Leaving Song Part II
    04-Cold Hands
    05-Endlessly, She Said
    06-Too Shy To Scream
    07-End Transmission
    08-Dancing Through Sunday
    09-But Home Is Nowhere...
    10-Miss Murder
    11-Beautiful Thieves

  27. That setlist, as awesome as it is, is incredible unrealistic. Endlessly, She Said has only been played 7 times and ...BHIN maybe 12 by now. Cold Hands, amazing live, but again, only played I believe 11 times. Also they would not cut Love Like Winter since that is a fairly recent, popular, single. I could see Death of Seasons in place of ...But Home is Nowhere and Love Like Winter in place of Cold Hands. Cut Dancing Thorough Sunday or Too Shy and that would be a realistic, possible setlist for this tour. I probably sound like a dick but I am just analyzing the setlists from this tour and thinking about what is possible and what isn't.

  28. It's realistic enough in the fact that all those songs have been played before. Was just trying to make up something better than what they are doing now. No need to get all AFI-dream-setlist-police on me.

    ReplyDelete
  29. oh shit who called the police.

That setlist looks pretty good Zack exact for endlessly. Never was to fond of that song nor do I believe it could become a staple in the Green day tour setlist or period.

What about It Was Mine. Haven't heard much of that. I'd like to hear that more. or fainting spells! That would be fun. I believe someone from the band said that song was possible to play live.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I talked to Hunter about Fainting Spells back in January after the Santa Cruz, CA show. He pretty much said they'd given up trying to make the song work live. They had been trying to practice it a lot but they just couldn't get it to click. He wouldn't say specifically what the problem was. Could have been the gang vocals, the guitar transitions, Davey's vocals, who knows? Maybe it just didn't mesh right.

    ReplyDelete
  31. As I said, I'm just trying to be realistic. I would LOVE to see that setlist, I just don't want anyone getting their hopes up :(

    ReplyDelete
  32. Damn oh well Thanks Flash I didnt know that. I guess at one point they thought they could play it live.

I'm sure no ones getting their hopes up James. :)

    ReplyDelete
  33. I think they like to rehearse everything to see if they can, just in case.

Haha, I feel like a dick :( sorry!

    ReplyDelete
  34. yeah i'm not fond of endlessly either i was just trying to pick something from DU that wasn't LLW hahah. maybe summer shudder? ehh. it was mine could be cool too.
