According to Ticketmaster, AFI will be playing mtvU’s “Ulalume”, along with Paramore “and more.” The show will be broadcasted on MTV on October 30.
Ulalume will be held at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD, on October 23th 2009. Tickets will go on sale on September 9th 2009 at 10:00 am. Doors for the event will open at 6:00 pm.

Says the press release, “The show, which takes its name from the Edgar Allen Poe poem of the same name, will be sure to celebrate all things spooky and this year’s Halloween. Under a gray autumn sky with withering leaves, the festival grounds will transform into a ghoul haunted woodland featuring a costume contest and more tricks set to unfold throughout the night. Performances straight from “Ulalume” will air during a Halloween-themed week on MTV, MTV.com, mtvU, and mtvU.com, with more details to be announced.”
