On April 21, Nitro Records posted a news item on their Web site regarding the recent pulling of their catalog from iTunes. In the message they say:
Due to various changes within the company, our catalog has been temporarily pulled from iTunes. We’re aware that some of you have already noticed this. Rest assured that we have been working hard here at Nitro headquarters on updating everything & getting it all back up there as quickly as possible for everyone.
Sorry for the delay and thanks for the patience & support!
As of today, AFI’s albums recorded with Nitro are not up on iTunes. As soon as they return I will post an update.
Note: On June 30, 2010 AFI News HQ was hacked and all posts were deleted. This is one of the posts that was affected. The text here was imported from a backup, but all of the original comments are gone and the author credited below is only responsible for reposting in most cases.
