I am terrible at asking questions LOL :)Don't hate too much.
ReplyDeleteplayer doesnt work for me
ReplyDeletewhy not just youtube? works on every smartphone lol
ReplyDeleteWow those were some of the best questions I have seen on an interview in a long time. Good work!
ReplyDeleteWho would have guessed that It Was Mine was written during DU era??Great interview with really good and original questions. You are actually very good at asking questions, don`t worry :).Maybe in next era you alone should do interview with each band member :)
ReplyDeleteThis was by far the best interview out of the four you guys did.
ReplyDeleteGreat job.
wow great job!!!! WAAAAAAAYYYYYY better than Mary!!! your questions were amazingly great! Very informative!!
ReplyDeleteOk I had to switch browsers to watch it >.> But it was good, I agree with everyone else. I think so far this is the best series out of the four interviews.
ReplyDeleteThis was great, I loved how you asked follow up questions and actually had a conversation with him rather than just asking question after question.
ReplyDeleteAwesome interview, Brandon! I agree, you were really good on following things up!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! Am I the only person who wants to go make a CD just so I can invite Jade to play on it? ;-)
ReplyDeleteAre you gonna put this on the podcast? Also the Davey one?
ReplyDeleteThanks guys :) And yes I will upload it to the podcast asap.
ReplyDeleteBest interview. This is what happens when a 10 year old fan interviews AFI.
ReplyDeletePablo, I think you mean a fan of 10 years ;)
ReplyDeleteAmazing interview, really informative and definitely the best out of the four. When the next album comes around you should look into interviewing the other three, you managed to get a lot of juicy information out of Jade and I'd love to see your interviewing magic applied to Hunter, Davey and Adam!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for part two! Are you willing to drop any hints on what will be discussed? I know Blaqk Audio is one of the topics because of a previous comment you made, but I'm eager to know more haha.
Wow thanks guys :) The next part we talk about the recording studio, the loss of Jerry Finn and lots of Blaqk Audio stuff.
ReplyDeleteVery nice Brandon!
ReplyDeleteAnd Pablo.. I really hope you meant a fan of 10 years...
Awesome interview. I'll be looking forward to part two.
ReplyDeleteno, Brandon is actually 10 years old, he just looks older!
ReplyDeleteA very hairy 10 year old haha :)

ReplyDeleteI would make a record just for him to be a guest guitar on it too :) But otherwise yeah great interview. What I want to know is will we ever hear Weight of Words or The View From Here? I'm curious to what those sound like, and I think it would be stellar just to get to hear those songs, and so curiousity will stop eating me from the inside out.
ReplyDeleteWe'll never hear Weight of Words. Possibly The View From Here but as time goes by it will be more unlikely.
ReplyDeleteLike Fainting Spells, I'm sure The View From Here will be a b-side on the next album. But I have no hope for Weight of Words :)
ReplyDeleteExcellent interview, Brandon. You seem comfortable and professional. I love your focus on the songwriting process, over Jade's time with AFI. Insightful questions lead to thoughtful, non-reflexive answers. It's refreshing not to have to sit through questions that have been asked time and time again ... I'm sure Jade appreciated that, as well!
ReplyDeleteNow to the fangirl thang: ZOMG! Jade has the most wonderful hands!
In all seriousness ... BRAVO! I can't wait for Part 2.
