Sorry if these are stupid/already asked/etc. :P
How are you and Marissa doing? (hope thats not too personal)
ReplyDelete:O
ReplyDeleteI'm going to the AZ show too :P

My questions:
- What is the status on Blaqk Audio, and when exactly will they get into full Blaqk mode?
- Any idea when the first single or album will be released (BBH)?
Will the next AFI record be released with Interscope, or do you have other plans? <<<<please ask that
ReplyDeleteOKIFB - 62%
ReplyDeleteSacrilege - 37%
You guys suck lol
I'm with Drew:
ReplyDeleteAny consideration into branching into your own record label or a different label, now that the contract with Interscope is up?
ok so heres mine, everyone did talk about this and it kinda vannished but i still have suck in my head but is was wondering if Dark Morning Conspirators will every bee released to the public?
ReplyDeleteI almost forgot, ask Jade when he will be uploading the Stiff Kittens music video(he says he keeps forgetting)

ReplyDeleteWhat influenced you to pick up the guitar and continue to play?
Has A.F.I. ever been pressured by your record labels and made music conforming to them?
How did you first learn guitar?
How did you purchase all of your guitar equipment when you were young?
What was your first guitar?Brand,Model,etc.?
what would your most encouraging piece of advise(you can think of) to guitar players be?
Advice, excuse me, not advise. What would your most encouraging piece of advice(you can think of) to guitar players be?
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy reading your blog! How did you get into blogging and do you have any favorite blogs?
ReplyDelete- according to him, what defines a good AFI melody, or tune?

ReplyDelete- what is your favorite afi song EVER.
- the record deal woith interscope is up, what are your plans now?

Do you miss the stage diving atmosphere when you guys performed in smaller clubs.
When will "Weight of Words" be released, if at all!!?
Thanks!!
^^ i also want to know what dustin said.
ReplyDeleteWhat bands were influential to you when you were early in your career? Bands that made you want to play?
ReplyDeleteWhat was difficult to you about playing guitar at first? What is difficult now?
How did playing guitar go from a hobby or interest to actually playing in a band? What was this process or transition like?
I know that you went to college, but obviously you didn't use that degree towards your career. As a college student myself, I know how difficult it is to decide what to do with your life. How did you know you were making the right decision by doing something that wasn't easily supported? Was your family supportive?
-What's the deal with Interscope? Are you guys still on the label, or are you looking for another contract?
ReplyDelete-As an audiophile, I am often frustrated with the lack of super high-quality audio available of AFI and BA recordings. Have you ever considered making your recordings available in master-quality (e.g. 24 bit, 192 khz) lossless audio? In particular for Blaqk Audio, since there is no vinyl available, and it seems easier logistically.
definitely guitar-related and songwriting-related questions. I agree with a lot of jfi3rd's questions.
ReplyDeleteWhat's your favorite AFI song to sing backup vocals?
ReplyDeletePros and cons being in AFI
ASK HIM ABOUT THE CHICKEN SONG!
If you were not playing music, what would you be doing?

Have you ever taken something out of a hotel room which you still possess? What is it?
ReplyDeleteAsk him about the Stiff Kittens music video like someone mentioned above.
ReplyDeleteAnd ask him when BBH will be out
Crash Love demos, can we has it? :)
ReplyDeleteAsk Jade the following (please?):
ReplyDeleteDo you like playing the UK? What's the best venue you've played in the UK?
What's the weirdest fan tattoo you've ever seen?
Who would win in a fight between you and the rest of the band (plus Smith etc.)?

ReplyDeleteDark Morning Conspirators!! Want. When can we have it, if ever?
ReplyDeleteAnd it better get released Mr. Jade. Put it on your blog, we don't care, we just want to hear it.
and come on guys. I know we are all dying to get any sort of news about blaqk audio and BBH but I think that on an AFI tour at an AFI show we should be asking AFI related questions. Don't hate, I love BA too, but come on.
ReplyDeletecxb, yes! thats what I was talking about.
ReplyDeleteIs it possible that you get to Russia with AFI or Blaqk Audio one day? :)
ReplyDeleteI don't see how one or two BA questions would hurt. AFI is almost done anyway
ReplyDeleteagree with uruhayaya, please ask that question :)
ReplyDeleteDo you have any advice for an aspiring electric guitar player?
ReplyDeleteyour stage presence is phenomenal, how when and where did you became of master of the side step, guitar swing and oh so many poses that make your guitar performance the climatic eye orgasm of the show?
ReplyDeleteWhy are there so few guitar solos in AFI songs?
ReplyDeleteWe know the song lyrics have a personal meaning for Davey, but are there any particular AFI lyrics or songs that really speak to you, personally?
-- What's been your favorite album released in the last five years?
ReplyDelete-- When was the moment when you knew that you wanted to be a musician?
-- How do you feel about having your college degree, but being a badass musician instead?
-- What was the most awkward fan story you can remember?
My questions...
ReplyDelete- What are your favorite songs (not just AFI, but in all) to play on guitar?

- when will be get a BA music video?
- what is your favorite AFI song that you didn't write?
- any chance of remixing tracks from artist not from the U.S? (you have done The Cure already)
- any chance of coming to South Africa? i promise to even bake you some vegan goodies :)
Love and Eternal Respect
your biggest fan in South Africa
PLEASE ASK THIS!
ReplyDeleteI think a lot of people want to know :)
- Obviously AFI's sound changes with every record as the band evolves as musicians, and Crash Love was very different from previous releases. Do you know or have any idea of where you're heading next? Crash Love sounds like it should fill arenas, will the next album be even bigger sounding or do you think you will take it down a notch? Maybe something completely different?
I'd also like to know how he realized that guitar was his thing, and that it was THAT he wanted to do in life.
Much love,
xXx
I'd also like to know about a possible tour to South Africa, as well as whether Jade would be interested in going on a real safari!
ReplyDeleteWill the band ever do another mystery? And how different would Crash Love have sounded if David Bottrill worked on it till the end?
ReplyDeleteI'll add my voice to those who want to know if the band is staying with Interscope, given the lack of support they received from the label for Crash Love.
ReplyDeleteWhy do you keep playing songs that some band members have admitted they don't like playing (Dancing Through Sunday, Kill Caustic), yet there are other similar songs you never play (Paper Airplanes, Killing Lights)?
ReplyDeleteWas Clandestine inspired by the Pulp Fiction briefcase?
what is the craziest thing that has happened to you (or the whole band) while on tour?
ReplyDeleteJade, when will u post a crashlove tab for the fans?
